US students fall further behind in math amid COVId-19

An analysis of data involving nearly 4.4 million students by the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) has revealed the impact of COVID-19. The NWEA findings show that, compared to last year, students scored an average of 5 to 10 percentile points lower in math, with students in grades three, four and five experiencing the largest drops.
